Description

This shot I took last Sunday in our garden. In the meantime there fell more snow, and even now it's snowing here. Isn't it funny, that the name of this shrub in Dutch is called: 'Kardinaalsmuts'? Literally translated: 'The hat of the Cardinal'. Well, here it has a snow-hat then, :D. Latin name: Euonymus europaeus, known as spindle, and also as European spindle and common spindle. Thank you very much for your interest and your visit, I like it very much! Smile, Mies.

Mies, this is a really beautiful shot of these Blooms. They looks so lovely :-) Yes snow is beautiful from inside the house, but not fun to walk or drive in. But as a Russian (I think) lady said on TV, "Every time of the year is fine" She stood in a street with much more snow that we have here and it was also MUCH colder. She is right and we here are lucky to be able to see the beauty of the different seasons. I really love that. I just have to remind myself sometimes :D Thank you Mies :-)

Mies, this made me laugh SO much! I can see about 5 or 6 pairs of little feet hanging down and I wonder who they belong to, and what they are gossiping about inside that snow-tent!

Wonderful capture Mies! The snow cap is delightful. We have close to 3 feet of snow on the ground now, so if you find yourself wishing for any more just let me know. I will happily fedex a box full to you. :)
