Description
No story .. but it did remind of a book of the same name I read years ago, "Ringworld" by Larry Niven. I only read the first book, I think there were two more Ringworld novels, but I never did get around to reading them.
This is Bunny Clarke's Neon Worlds script, endlessly tweaked. I did add a start field background, and two small fractals.
Many thanks for all the marvelous comments on the previous post .. each is like a little jewel to read! Thank you for the many faves. Hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful day, and hope everyone else had a wonderful day, too.
Still catching up!!

This is very cool!! AWesome details in this Beautiful fractal!!
this is so cool, looks like a fractal map of a alien universe. love the work you did on this my friend.
Fantastic Fractal! -=Will=-
Wow, Rita!!! Excellent!!
Really amazing fractal!!! Super sci fi image!
Rita this is really superb! I remember the novel, and I didn't read the others either. Wonder if they were a bit too dry? It wasn't like Asimov's Foundation trilogy. That was great. When I was in high school I wanted to be a sci-fi writer, and corresponded eith Asimov. Great guy, it was about his book,"I Robot". Boy those were the good-old days. Your incredibly cool image got me to start remembering those halcyon days. As always your wonderful work touches a part of us. In that sense you transcend the realm of the fractal and entire the realm of the visionary. Excellence all around!!!!!
Wow...just seeing the title was a flashback for me! Love this image and really loved those books too. Now I'm going to have to go see if I can actually find my copies of the books to read again! :-) After, of course, I finish the one I just started last night grin
fantastic!! very realistic UFO!! :)
Awesome image!! Love the feel of this.
Wonderful image, Rita! I read the first two and loved them. I just found out that there are two others. I'm going to order them and see if they are up to the first two

there was also a couple computer games with the name of ringworld running in dos 6.2 at the time . reminds me the times i had a multiple autoexec.bat to start the pc with the options of xms memory or ems memory all loaded manually . well i had a machine with 4 mb ram graphic 512 kilobyte lol. very nice work and thank you for bringing back nice memories to me.
looks like the gallaxies colisium - maybe the Olympic gods are having a smack down? looks cool and I like the 3D feel.
Great work Rita!
wonderful apo-render !
Shining creation.
Wow...yes, back to fractals. You did a magnificent job of creating a stellar system. That's a fractal that is fully convincing as a 3D model. It doesn't take any imagination to see it as a great system of ships...the ringworld. You only need your imagination to envision the creatures that live there, and what it might be like inside those structures. Wonderful sci-fi work. Hugs and a high-five. Only 8 days to go!
It's a bit like a very beautifully lit sports stadium from above!
A beautiful creation fractalienne ... what a great job ... Rita reports that it can be assessed with zoom! I'm never happened in those strange and round Parges Fule! Bravo for creativity! Congratulations Rita!
composition, and the tittle, there's a lot of memory in it. Agree with most of them above! wonderful sci fi illustration! RS
