Description
Early this morning I went out, until my toes felt frozen.
Among others, I took this picture of the Fuchsia riccartonii.
A poem for fun in Dutch:
Een verrassing toen mijn ogen waren open,
ik snel naar buiten gelopen,
mijn tenen bijna bevroren,
maar niemand die mij nog kon storen.
"Met de ijs-kristallen rondom mijn oren". :D

Wow! Ik heb nog nooit dit eerder gezien! Onze fuchsia's hier in New Hampshire lijken niet te lang veel verder dan de zomer en nooit lang genoeg om sneeuw vallen hebben op het. Dat is heel erg mooi! Ik hoop dat deze vertaling komt door alle righ. Ik ben met behulp van een online vertaling site.
Leuk al die vertalingen hier,grappig hoe alles vertaald worden en dan ik maar denken dat ikhet moeilijk heb met het engels. De foto is erg mooi Mies, wel een verrassing zo, deze bloemen had mijn moeder er heel veel, ik laat ze iedere keer dood gaan dus voor mij deze niet meer. Perfecte foto!! 10+

I do not know what I like better, the Fuchsia or the ice crystals. The beautiful macro shot captures both in such exquisite detail. Fuchsia are such beautiful delicate flowers and ice is so sharp and unyielding. The contrast between the sharp pointed ice and the soft surface of the flower creates an image of the power that softness has, because surely, in the end, the flower will win. As always, Mies, Superb!
