I missed this one. Beautiful view and a marvelous capture.
Very beautiful capture, well done!
great one, like the waterflow
like the body of a woman
What a lovely composition, beautiful shot.
Two of the five elements in traditional Chinese medicine. Great shutter speed for the flow of water, Clive
Great soft touch to this.
a lovely image enhanced by the glowing foreground
nice work
Glorious work! I could live with this filling a wall! The postwork takes my breath away.
WHat a lovely place you have captured here, Tara. It is good for a Painting :-)
Cool, peaceful, beautiful shot! And quite stunning postwork! Well done! Rob
Earth and water, that's all that Xerxes wanted.. Great capture! beautiful spot
A lovely image. Very well done
Mighty nice. Your photo has caused me to do something that visiting the garden did not do...at the time of our visit...inspire me to find out more about Japanese gardening. I've heard lots about these gardens but a quick trip to this link has focused my thinking and made me want to find out even more before our next trip to one: Philosophy - Japanese Garden Journal There was so much going on in this little garden space that I wasn't sure what to focus on...maybe next time I'll get it:)
This is so beautiful and I love you postwork. This has such a refreshing look and feel to it. Wonderful!
Wonderful image and postwork. Looks so dreamy. : )
Gorgeous mood here; exactly what the designers had in mind, I'm sure! Well done!
Wonderful image! :)
Were it not for all the wildlife I have here, I'd go for a Japanese type garden. This is really lovely. Simple and beautiful. Fantastic shot! ^=^
Stellar depth, focus and lighting effects in this nature pic. Add air and fire and I believe you would have the complete recipe of elements, according to the ancients.
What a beautiful spot...and capture!! Love Japanese gardens!
Lovely photo, Tara! I can almost hear the trickle of water. How relaxing and magical! You know - speaking of magick - I think I can see a lovely faerie sitting on that rock.... Just beyond the grassy spot.... (wink) :-D
The colouring is so super in this wonderful capture. I love the softness and the beauty.
The softness works so well. Excelent capture.
I love the painterly look you've given to this. Stunning shot!
wonderful shot
Good overall exposure, for having the lens open so long, to get the blur on the water ... very soft and beautiful image, BB
If I were wearing socks, they'd be knocked off by this shot--wow!!
he shot itself is beautiful, the diagonal of the tuft of grass in the lower left paralleled by the trees & green of the upper right (diagonal frames), with the rock & water coursing through the middle on the same diagonal: Very intuitive composition, tara, very 'right'. But then there's your postwork, and it's splendid. The painter in you comes to the fore. The hues are beautiful as is, but your treatment of them, and the somewhat milky treatment of many of the surfaces makes this part painting, and part construction in light. By removing some of the harder detail, you've made rock into gentle light, and the back & foreground into plush carpeting embracing the rock. It's a real tara piece, it's lush and beautiful, and simply framed by your composition. And btw, when you said you saw this with "Mark"---before I read WHICH Mark---I thought, "reeeeeally???? Was I THAT out of it in Sept???? Did I go to Seattle???? Why didn't someone TELL me!!!" From now on, indicate the sitename first or I'll have a heart attack! The water, btw, sings like a subtle opal...beautiful work.
