Description
In the picture we see today, the Avenue of Capponi crossing the Pineta di Ponente in Viareggio, there are a few dozen meters from the swan pond.
For this picture came to my mind the words of the Great Poet, taken from Canto I Inferno
The great poet is Dante Alighieri, his work The Divine Comedy.
Divina Commedia Inferno: Canto I
Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita
mi ritrovai per una selva oscura
ché la diritta via era smarrita.
Ahi quanto a dir qual era è cosa dura
esta selva selvaggia e aspra e forte
che nel pensier rinnova la paura!
Halfway through the journey of our life
I found myself in a dark wood
For the straight way was lost.
Ah, how to tell what a thing it is hard
this forest savage, rough and hard
that in the very thought renews the fear!

Bellissima immagine Mario!! Una realizzazione assolutamente superba! Bravo!!
A superb capture with lovely mellow colouring and a feeling of great depth.
Excellent
lovely place!!
Very nice photo.
Beautiful capture!
Bella scena! Ottima cattura! Buona Domenica, il mio amico! Abbracci!
Really wonderful photograph. Excellent POV.
Wonderful trees and capture! ;o)
This is so stark and naked yet so beautiful. Wonderful capture. I bet this looks great, in the summer, when all the leaves are on the trees. Dana
Love the depth in it!!!
Excellent photography
