Description
You're probably wondering why the hell I would post a picture of the rear bike wheel. This wheel was installed on my bike on Wednesday around 1100 because I rode my bike hard and destroyed the original wheel, specifically the axel and bearings. My dad covered the cost of replacement ($50.00 - I'll repay him next Monday). The difference in the ride was like night and day..
the old wheel had a play of 1/4 inchess or 6.35mm. I truly destroyed the wheel by riding the bike the way it was designed to be ridden, hard.
Have a great day
Mike

You gotta ride em the way they're supposed to be ridden!! I've ridden mine so much I need tires as well, but most of my miles are on city streets and beach boardwalks!!
lol..go MIke !!
Rode hard and put away wet. If you want to ride you gotta take care of your ride. But six posts in one day? When do you sleep?
see fortune everywere... love the idea mike
A friend of mine goes through bike parts far more rapidly and works part-time for a bike shop but I don't think he ever takes home any money, just bike parts! He's the most fit person I've ever known and was a competitor in the Barcelona Olympics, and still just as fit as then!
This is a 'super-wheel'! p.s. hope you didn't hurt yourself.
you have been to hard on the wheel. now me in my weird mind imagine me :you riding something (someone else)muahahahaha.sorry just balla-balla in my mind.
You won't have a sore bum anymore!
that will teach ya...lol
quit doing those jumps off that bridge and your rim will last longer - lol... how'd I know? Let's just say a little fae told me - lol
Yep, that's a bike tire all right!
Mmm rear naked wheel alright and no advisory lol..
Great photography my friend......!!!!
Yep I've been through a few in my time too!
At least it's a real "mountain" wheel rather than those silly European slims..
1/4" play? LOL wow Mike, That is well past the time to replace. I can bet the difference after you replaced it felt fantastic.

i guess it can safely be asserted that u r a bike riding fool. (:
Nice capture Mike, and hope this one lasts a bit longer ;)
I'm getting to old now for a good ride!! Nice shot Mike.

ummm....nice shot....and lol @ mikereeson!
I have three bikes to choose from but unfortunately, they sit in the shed most of the time. I am hoping to be able to start riding more once I retire, which, I hope, will be in a few months. Glad to hear you got you bike back together. From all the excellent photos you share with us, I can tell your bike server you quite well. Give it a nice pat on the seat in thanks for holding you up on these many miles! Great one, Mike! Happy ThanksGiving!
You practically need a 4x4 for any of the dirt roads out here. No bikes, or anything else, work on them. You can barely walk them. Lol. ")
