Description
I almost forgot to post this photo from our vacation in Arkansas this October. We were walking along one of those woodland trails when.....
Perhaps this explains some of those chupacabra sightings.
Okay, so I'm a kidder. Actually, I was doing some work on the next page in the Girls From TNA, and this just took on a life of its own. So, here for your viewing pleasure is the one, the only, Daz Gecko! His mission is to make you smile, and he won't even try to sell you any insurance..
Obviously a bit of fiddling about in Photoshop again!
Page 2, Chapter 2 coming soon! Really.
Thanks as always for all your comments, faves and support! I really appreciate them all!

Like the way Rod...that you just spin a little something up for amusement and a quickie post while you engage in the more serious business of writing and illustrating the TNA girls adventures for all of us wild and crazy devotees. Well done!
very CUTE!!! I Love it! BTW...Geico Insurance is really good, had it now for almost 6 years...so far...so good! Love this image!
Excellent image! Did you ask him where he keeps his wallet?
I love a good gecko...I always have, even before one with an Australian accent started selling insurance! I love every aspect of this image; it delivered a chuckle when I needed one, and it's so well done. This is really great stuff and for some reason, it has me thinking of the wacky SF show, Lexx that featured a buxom babe character who was one-half cluster lizard...this has nothing to do with the image, but for some reason she popped into my head, singing that sultry bluesy song about...oh, never mind! This is a great image.
Great image Rod I would have believed you if you said you have captured this shot of the gecko while on holiday...yeah Right.. Fabulous blending him in there . Excellent posting my friend!! Barry.
LOL at Faemike!!! This is super Rod! You make him look so natural...I think! :)
Really excellent postwork on this. Fun stuff. Now I'll remember to avoid the woods of Arkansas };-)
So cute!
Whoa!! Is he guerrilla gecko, or one of those fearsome Spec-ops gecko's? Great postwork! Chipka mentioned Lexx, I'm surprised anyone outside of Canada even knows about that show! It was awesome!
He look real in those surroundings!! Awesome Image Rod!!
Wow! Nice idea! could not find him sooner.
You have done a splendid job on this rod amazing scene perfect !!
Great work! Excellently done! Could you send this guy a greeting from his cousin, Te Und?...;o)
and he better does not want to sell me an insurance because then mi smile will vanish.these fuckers as well are involved in the economic crisis.
Hes not the fellow that sold the Irish bankers dodgy insurance is he!
He looks rather sneaky to me. I wonder what he's really up to.
Excellent work!!!!
Rod, your photoshop work is just to die for. You never cease to amaze me in how you integrate 3-d characters into a scene. If this wasn't an overgrown gecko one would be hard pressed not to think this was a photo. The way you laced that complex foliage around him is superb. You really do show us the dance between the worlds of what is and what might be.
nice photo rod, where did you find this gecko at? is he a mysterious lizard never seen before.. he he, wonderful work rod, and happy thanksgiving my friend..
LOL...cute little guy!!! Are you SURE he won't try to sell us insurance? He really, really blends in well!! nice job!
hahaha, I love it!!!! Peek a boo!
LOL! THIS IS GREAT Rod!!!! Superb posing, and AMAZING Photoshop work! Only someone who has actually tried to impose a rendered character into a photo really knows just how much work is really involved - especially in a case like this when the character is partially behind various parts of the objects in the photo. Superbly done oh master of Photoshop!
