Taken yesterday after our "Big Storm" the night before. 20 minutes of thunder and lighting.
Growing up in Texas, but living out here for over 20 years now, I have yet to understand the definition "Big Storm".

Lol, here in southern California, when it barely drizzles, people bring out the heavy stuff--parkas, umbrellas, all the gear!! I do love the way the beach looks after a storm--all clean and smooth, well unless it also brought a ton of driftwood as well!!
