nice picture. I also did the USS independence in transit to Mars. It seems there is plenty of trafic to Mars now.... what are you gonna do , Earth sucks and Mars rules !
Love it, just like all your other work. The one thing I'd say is that the texture on the large section in the lower left seems a little too obviously a texture, and not quite in keeping with the rest of the detail work in this and your other models. I love every other detail aobut this, but that one little thing bugs me. I hate to bring it up, because I've always loved all of your work, and i hate to criticize a superior artist, but I just want to be as honest as possible. Great job on the rest of this, and keep 'em coming :)
This is a really nice model- but, I have to agree with Dreadnaughtzeta- the brushmap on the nearest section looks 'wrong'. I think it's the fact that the detail repeats too often. Would it possible to try a simpler panel pattern, with little bits of detail added over the top, here and there?
Fantastic as usual. One suggestion, did you consider putting a bump map on the main hull plating? This is what I think would make it appear not so textured as one comment was made. Keep up the great work!
Im giving you a rating of 10 because im making one of these and this is just a great job on it and I know how much work goes into it. And.. im gonna say that a more thicker bump bamp on your crew quarteres could benefit you a little or perhaps reduce te size of the texture
