Description
My body may be slaving away over a hot computer in my office, but this is where my mind is wandering...
First Vue render on my Mac - what a pleasure! Soon I'll be able to rid my office of the noisy PC. The iMac is absolutely silent, which allows me to listen to the water trickling in the stream and the waves crashing on the beach on the other side of the dunes... :o)
Vue 9 Infinite, signature in Photoshop.

Gorgeous! Wish I were there :)
What a tranquil place. Hidden from worry and troble....and noise what we don't want.
Beautiful!!
Really lovely view, that would make staring at the computer-screen a great deal more bearable! On a side note: I'm glad to hear you like your iMac, I've got 3 of them (One is my "TV" for watching movies and Netflix) that sometimes assist me with rendering stuff. It might be worth it to keep the old PC around if you can shove your rendering tasks onto a second machine while you go back to work. At any rate, this is a really nice landscape, it certainly looks peaceful!
Oh thats a wonderful scene. I wish I could be there. Awesome work!
a wonderful job and as always worth seeing
Beautiful scene!
FANTASTIC picture!!!!!!
yeah, I'm one of those 10 percent Mac users too, having used windows & linux (which I like for open source, but I prefer Mac), and I know there's a difference. I know windows is everywhere, and there's more software for it; but the lack of viruses, the much stronger protections and closed ports, and the user-friendly nature of the system won me over a while back. I'm glad Vue works nicely on it. I know not all visual software has a Mac version... As always, with your landscapes, you have highly varied lighting, dappling your landscapes in many directions, and capturing mystery, beauty and something primal as well. Wonderful how the light in the back of the island is so strong, pointing us to places beyond. And how it dapples the ridge in the foreground. The rest is play with shadow and the repose in shadow; and your particulars---the rocks, the grasses, the creek line & the mix of trees against those clouds---are beautifully chosen. A beautiful work, sensitive, and inviting. And once again, I wish you a wonderful holiday (New Year coming up). I know it's hot there (unlike here!), but it's still a holiday, a solstice, and I hope yours has been wonderful, Craig.
A so wonderful and peaceful island!
