Description
This is the trunk and roots of the Yew tree I spoke of in an earlier post. This shows the power and clasping nature of the roots. They pop out of the rock all over the place lower down the boulder mass.

It's very impressive.
AMAZING! I should have been muttering and curtseying with you had I been there!
Its amazing how they grow in such rugged terrain!
fascinating. Proves that its in the perseverance and not in the strength. Great shot.
Amazing power indeed. Thanks for sharing! :)
Wonderful shot, nature will always find a way!!
Very nice capture.
Fabulous capture! ^=^
If you can't go around it, over it, or under it...go through it. Spectacular.
belle racine!!!
An awesome shot! Yes, it is amazing how powerful tree roots can be!! I love the moss covered stones here in contrast to the brown of the yew tree. I'm thinking when I read that the English used to make their bows out of yew that this is the wood they were talking about. Looks like a beautiful wood!
Outstanding study in textures, beautiful color and capture!
Stunning capture my friend. This tree is powerful.
