Description
Made with FE, only PP for sign. and frame, plus a little bit embossing.
Drowning, cold, intense
water currents
the strong elements.
Inability impotence
grabbing the throat
hoarse from shouting
pale from feeling sea sick
raucous pinched panic.
Never let dominate,
dear:
crushing fear
feelings from
solitary imprison
confinement.
We who lives here present
not being cast away or shipwrecked
nor have a life sentence.
Souls splendour
for sure
already rescued
by grandeur.
The very happy
infinity story
great in peace
A Love in Glory.
I hope none of you has ever been an actual drowning.
But one can mentally feel like a drowning man (or woman) ;-)
See you later, please don't forget
I'm grateful to you all.

Very nice work Mies.
Excellent work!
This image is full of stars, Mies. I think most of the drowning ones will soon look up and see hope. Your poem is beautiful.
splendide image!
I've heard that drowning is a more peaceful way to go, though I have no desire to find out for myself. This is dreamy and really lovely, Mies, as are your words. Very nice.
superbly done, Mies, to me this looks like a wonderful foulard a very special kind of silk
There are so many ways to drown emotionally, whether it is from cruelty of others, insecurity in ourselves, single minded obsessiveness, or any of the other pitfalls of life. But there are also many ways to be rescued, some pulled up from inner strength, others from the strength of friends, the beauty of nature, a relationship with the holy, or a merging of these things. Your image is another merging of the elements that bring us down and those that lift us up. Darkness, and waves of despair are mitigated by light, beauty, and the connections, love, and support of friends. Excellent image and words!
