Description
Growing up in Australia, Buicks weren't a car that I was particular familiar with. But seeing this oldie in the flesh, I thought they looked great. Best viewed zoomed.

I knew right away I was going to see those portholes; this is such an iconic car here in the States. The convertible was the ultimate fun car!!
The trouble with car shows is people always getting in the way. Hazards of a photographer. Great shot.
I know! I don't mind people like those in this shot. It helps to add interest for me, but yeah, the ones who just barge in front of you after you have waited your turn in the line of photographers are extremely annoying. And that same rude person is usually shooting with a damn phone as well. Doubly annoying!!!!!!
I have been impressed with the array of colour in your car shots
Naaahh ... overchromed ... give me a 1949 or '50
Marvellous..someone has one of these locally to me. We have an active American car club.
Oh OK can you have too much chrome! I will google the 1949/50!
I must admit that, as a Buick 'novice', I did like all that shiny yummy chrome!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice capture! Just the right amount of chrome, I think!
awesome car,hughs!!!
Buicks were too upscale for my family but I always appreciated them. I drove a '56 Buick a few years ago...to say it had a soft ride would be an understatement...like riding on a cloud...but that meant handling wasn't very precise either:)
Great year and beautiful capture. Love this color for cars in the 50s. Bring on the chrome! Dana
Outstanding capture my friend.
Oh wow how awesme is this...beautiful car. My fav year for this one.
