Description
Top two floors of the historic French Rennaisance style courthouse in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
This stately building replaced the first log cabin-courthouse in 1873.
Had to hide in the shadows of the front of the building for this shot as the early afternoon sun climbed high in the cloudless sky.

Imposing! Tremendous detail in the shadowed facade, very cleverly done.
nice house - Very well done for getting the light right.ciao
What Beachzz says, just that touch of off-center to emphasize the symmetry.
wonderful house and photo!!
Beautiful photo of the typical Mansard roof developed during the 1600s. Not an easy thing to construct, either. Good job! :-)
Are you sure the Addams Family don't live here? A night time image would have made a great Halloween shot :) I've always wanted a house with a tower.
Wonderful photo, great POV, congratulations!
Great POV, it looks almost spooky with the sun behind it like that!
Very beautiful capture, Bill
