Description
This is one of my oil-paintings, made about 20 year ago. (30 x 40)
Please zoom.
Yesterday our art-friend Jeff, posted a picture of a sheep shelter, taken in Yorkshire. Immediately I saw similarities to this painting, I once made.
Thanks, Jeff for all your beautiful views and photographs of England. I always admire them very much. (also your humor ;D)
So this one is for you, I hope you like it ;-)
Thanks all, for your nice words and fine comments.
They always make me very happy!

Yesterday my P.C. went off. That's because the people are still working at our home, and something went wrong with the electricity.
Oh, and we are so pleased, this morning Karel could make the p.c. to start again.
And now, I'm 'lying' behind to give comments.
I have to take it easy, trigger, trigger, shake, shake:
Suddenly this morning I had to go to the doctor, because I now had fungal infections on account of that Penicilline.
This afternoon I need to Maastricht for the results of all those stupid personality tests.
I already know what they're saying : "we can not find anything, you're normal"!
And I am, ha, ha, ha!
Is that to much fun :D

oh...this is so beautiful! my best wishes for you ...hope you feel better soon!! hugs! Ines
Wow Mies! I already knew you are an expert fractal artist and fantastic photographer, but now i see you are obviously an extremely talanted painter as well. This oil painting is beautiful. Thank you so mush for sharing it with us. Any time you have to be on antibiotics you are always at risk for fungla infections, unfortunatly when the antibiotic kills off the bacteria that was making you sick, it also is killing off many of the good bacteria we all have that are protecting us from fungal infections. That is why if you need antibiotics it is a good idea to eat yogurt, it can help replace some of the healthy bacteria the medication is killing and avoid the fungal problems. Hope you are feeling better soon, get some rest and don't overdo it. Wow Mies!

Mies, this is such a wonderful paiting and I'm so glad you shared it with us and hope you have more to share soon.
Normal? Mmmmm. That would be so boring, Mies! No artists are normal. I like this very much, and I can see the close similarity with Jeff's photo!
Sound advice from Jim. You are an exceptional Artist in every way Mies. I am just so sad to know that you have the torment of so many horrid ailments and pains to contend with. If the people at Maatricht are looking for your personality - refer them to me or any of us at Rendo. You'll do for me:-))
Sorry...but this picture is a "Van Gogh" ! wonderful 2D creation ! SPLENDID.
This is wonderful!! so well done. Can I go take a nap there?

This is absolutely wonderful Mies, I am falling in love with you more and more everyday. I love your courage in the face of your ailments. Thankyou for your kind words and as regards to my humour, it is not intended to hurt anyone, I just hope to put a smile on our friends faces. Sincere thoughts, Jeff.
An oil painting of yours! What a wonderful way to start my morning! Beautiful landscape! Wonderful composition, detail, and atmosphere. I'd love to step in and take a stroll. I hope your infection is cleared up soon. I agree with Andrea on the normal bit. Big hugs to you, dear Mies.

What talent you have. Lovely work. A friend of mine has just asked to paint one of my barns as a gift for my sister, so I am thrilled.
Great result on this landscape! Thanks for sharing, Mies :)

superbe travail!!!
WONDERFUL PAINTING! I LIKE IT VERY MUCH!
It is amazing at how like Jeff's photo this is. It is a very beautiful painting, you have a real talent. I hope those infections clear up soon and I hope the tests show what a great person you are.
I just love your paintings, Mies! As I have mentioned before your Owls are just awesome. The color in today's offering is gorgeous. The central tree is just grand. The idyllic countryside is lovely. One thing I find particularly impressive is that you had to paint each one of the stones in the walls individually. What patience! These sound like trying times for you. I hope you rise out of them soon. Godspeed! ~Stan~
Beautiful work!!
We all agree on that one, Jeff's landscape and your own art are soooo similar, I cannot believe it ? Maybe you can make a tape-recording of this visit and play it in future back to them ... that would save a lot of mucking around ! very special painting, Jacomina BB
