Description
I thought I would upload something a little special tonight.
There are several of my Rendo friends who are hurting with difficult situations. Real Life has a tendency to bring us many challenges along this path we tread. Many are painful, and make us wonder how we'll find the strength to cope. I've been there many times. I know sometimes you just want to curl up and not face the world any more.
But then, when things seem darkest, a light suddenly shines. May all those who are hurting tonight find light.
This was taken in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a place we've visited many times - a place that for some reason draws us back again and again. The location of this photo is the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Chapel, across the street from the old Crescent Hotel.
I hope this photo communicates a little of the serenety I found while in this peaceful place.
I wish you all peace and a wonderful evening.
Thank you all for your support! It means a lot!

I think tonight we were riding the same cosmic wave. I really didn't plan on uploading what I did tonight but a flow of words just hit me and then clearly it was meant to be. This is one of those connections. Looks like a gorgeous spot and I wish I was there to share a beer with you!
Very beautiful and moving dedication, Rod!
This is just really a beautiful shot. The lighting and environment is truly peaceful and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing such a lovely, peaceful place with us.
Sometimes a place does that, draws you back and gives you something special. You've done a wonderful dedication with a very calm and peaceful foto.
this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Love this shot, GREAT dedication!
Thats beautiful
So kind of you, it's a wonderful gesture for RR friends who are in difficult times! Congrats! Wonderful image!
I like those places that keep calling you back... I guess that's why I have a hard time wanting to go outside the home state - I have found many places that I fall in love with and it's so hard to leave, especially if you know you'll never be there again.... Bahamas is one place for me - I seriously doubt I'll ever be there again and some of those white beaches and shallow clear warm water - damn, it hurts thinking about it - lol cool picture... I guess I'm one of those on your list of people, but I'm fine - one day at a time... and, I do see the light - thanks.
Great capture Rod, what a wonderful thought and image for all those who are hurting. Have a super day my friend well done!!
A beautiful image and a great dedication, Rod. Quite thoughtful of you to think of this, thank you so much. It seems to apply to most of us here, a very touching message.

A very fine photo shot of a peaceful place to rest in thoughts. I think there is a light for everyone but sometimes it can be hard to see it. There's always a light in the dark!... :o)

Man Rod, I think whoever lives next door to you is one of the luckiest people. I don't know too many people who go out of their way, as often as you do, to do something special for others. This shot is breathtaking, and the thought that goes with it just knocks this right out of the park my friend.
This is such a beautiful photoshot Rod, and thank you for this beautiful dedication and i am sure that you make lots of other people very happy with this dedication.....I know i do....hugs Adrie.

Great idea dear friend - Thank's for this marvelous picture!!
What a gorgeous photograph! I can see why you are drawn to this place. This would be a wonderful image for a background. I can see a "knight" (of whatever persuasion) standing in the garden behind the church, sword down, head bent, looking for inspiration or solace ...
stunning. The touches of sun give touches of hope as well.
Such a beautiful spot and picture...and your words, Rod. Yes, so many people have so very much to deal with. I also hope they are able to find some peace for themselves. Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo!
