Very nice shots here harry. Well presented :-) Interesting how the guns are in the fourth image.
Geez those guns are long. Excelent collage of this event.
Another excellent collage of these young men. They look very serious and those bayonets look very sharp. It looks as though you had an interesting day out.
Harry, for some reason you've captured more personality on the faces of these "boys" than I've noticed in past pictures of troops...probably I am just waking up to what you are showing us...better late than never on my part:-) I find myself looking at all the details of the uniforms to include canteens, pistol/sword belts, ammunition pouches, rifles, bayonets, belt buckles, etc. and then remembering these are all guys that live in 2010, not 1863. They drive cars, they watch television, they have cell phones...but here they are up to their eyeballs immersed in living history. This is an excellent series...
I know that I have mentioned the varied uniforms of the Confederate troups but have you noticed that those "nasty" bayonets all look the same. Bill is right - a fantastic series (so far) and an education at the same time. Dana
yes as bmac62 say it liveing history. bet if they chew tobacco they had to cut it with a kilve. wonderful shot
I find the lovely pastel oolours in your photos interestingly at odds with the function of war, even though it's only a replay.
Another wonderfully detailed collage, Harry.
Yes, another wonderful addition to the series; is that sergeant a "walking wounded"? Great shots!
Another wonderful set of photo's Harry.. Great details on these troops.. Zoom a must, just to see a little bit more.. Fine, fine work! Rob
Wonderful collage of these uniformed gentlemen Harry!
