Description
Last week Thursday I was fortunate to go the the 2010 AAD show at Ysterplaat, Cape Town. As it was a trade day there were less people than on the public days.
As I got out of my car this SAAF (South African Air Force) SAAB Gripen was doing a practice for the following day.
Weather was not ideal - I eventually registered 3 hours later to be able to get out of the rain by wondering through displays in the hangers.
Cheers,
Clive

Well done Clive...I too am new to this aircraft...looks very advanced.
Nice fly-by. I have a couple vidcaps of this aircraft (JAS-39) crashing before they worked the bugs out. If you hadn't check out my site. Fly-by's and bad weather.
Fine action shot. Glad you caught the practice fly-by!
