very calm
in quiet water
waiting for things to come
completely at rest
a moment of peace.
during his journey of life.
As so is my boat
my moments of rest.
How long will this take?
are there pirates on the coast?
Is it the calm before the storm?
Do not think about
just relax and enjoy.
In anticipation to continuing my journey.
I know, I become more and more wise.

Hopelijk mag de rust lang duren Mies. Heel apart werk, het donkere nog veel aanwezig. Ik kan er veel in zien.
I love how you use different line angles in this to create 3D depth. Also, I always enjoy your subtle use of color. The poetry is a perfect compliment to the piece. A beautiful rendering!
