Wonderful capture and interesting specs, Sig! thanks
Cool and original plane! Super capture, Sig :)
My Favorite of the older jets... Excellent shot!!
I always liked the clean lines and oval intake of the F-100. When the USAF 'Thunderbirds' flew this aircraft they flew a tighter formation than they fly now (after the 1983 mishap that crashed 4 aircraft during training they became more cautious). During the days when the 'Thunderbirds' flew the F-100s the aircraft that flew 'slot' always had a blackened vertical stabilizer from the exhaust of the aircraft ahead of it, Sig...
One of the main planes I trained on in the USAF. Ahh.. memories.
This is a well done photo of the fascinating aircraft.
fabulous.
The 100 was also known as the 'lead sled'. No glide angle to speak of.
Stunning capture my friend.
