Lovely. To ask a silly question, are there any eels in it?
Very nice collage!
Stellar sequence of lighting and textures in this collage, Marilyn! I'm still trying to figure out the repetitive patterns in the lower right foto.
this is some kind of wonderful place!!
Lovely collage and wonderful water textures.
Super collage and love the presentation by placing the small images over a large version of the upper left shot. Dana.
Looks like you had a great day!
Rivers...there's just something about them...the mighty Amazon, the serene and lengthy Nile, the Vltava (my favorite of rivers!) and so many others...even the odd little thing that meanders through Chicago. It's a moody river--shallow enough to walk across in some parts and stunningly deep in others! That's rivers for you. The Eel River looks quite magical and in a sense deceptive. It doesn't strike me as a particularly "dark" river and I find that amazing. The rivers I'm most familiar with are dark ones, brooding ones...somewhat sinister, as if rusalki, vodyanoi, or kappa lurk in their depths and along their shores. The Eel River could have such critters (in some mythical location) and yet it seems brighter and more likely to hold something else...if that makes sense. I can go on and on about rivers and why they're so profoundly comforting to me, but I'd rather just sit back and enjoy this montage. It's so well done! I want to visit that river as well as the Moscow River, which will be done in time...I'm sure of that! This is marvelous!
