Description
Hello, here I am again.
Now with a wild flower, with soft and sweet smells.
We call this "Giant Jumping Balsemien.
In the past we had them in our garden. That is so cute when you squeezes in the tip of the capsule, then 'pop' jump the box open and the seeds fly out.
Our children played with it, they pinched in all seeds.
Now they stand as a long ribbon near here on the side of a footpath. The air is laden with their scent.
They are dark pink, light pink and very soft, almost white in color. They are one and half to two meters high.
The petals are very delicate.
Below I've put a link where you can read all about this beautiful flower.

Thank you so much for you're comments and your fine words on my other uploads.
They are highly valued.
With friend greetings from
Mies.

A really lovely shot Mies but I have a feeling, I could be wrong, that this is what we call Japanese Knot Weed and is becoming a menace here in the UK. I am sure that Andrea will be able to pit me right!
This is such a beautiful flower Mies, and the soft colors are very soothing
prachtige opname van dit springbalsemietje.. ze zijn zo leuk als ze zaad dragen en uitelkaar knappen !
Schitterende opname met veel details.

really beautiful Mies....the God´s creations are wonderful!
I agree with Jock I love that you find such joy in simple things, how it should be for everyone.. Nice work.
Your description sounds so wonderful, I wish I could smell them. They are a most beautiful color. It appears though that Jayfar is correct. Hard to believe such a lovely blossom is such a nasty weed too. Still, your shot is beautiful. Thanks for the info.
Staat er weer goed op, een mooi stukje natuur!!
Really beautiful flowers, Mies! Great capture :)
It is Impatiens grandiflora, you are right Mies, but it is invading our riverbanks here and destroying native plants. We are encouraged to eliminate it.
jolies fleurs!
This plant is a great evil! She looks very pretty. But unfortunately it is rampant and displaces the native wildflowers..... In spite of everything: a beautiful photo!
Curious flowers with holes. The beauty is sometimes the mask of the Devil !!!
beautiful!

A gorgeous capture. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful image.
A lovely capture of this beautiful weed. I went and had a look at Wikipedia and it seems quite invasive. I have never seen it before so thank you for posting. it is great that it is full of nectar for the birds.
Very sweet, super delicate flower, amazing shot!
Beautiful capture, color and details. Dana
Beautiful! I'll enjoy your photo ... we're to root these out wherever we see them here in Washington State in the US, as well. Horribly invasive!
