Description
Dana, on top of Whistlers Mountain 7,473 feet (2,277 m). I need to mention that I DID NOT climb up there. There was a tram that went most of the way up. The mountain range in the background is the Colin Range - sometimes called the Endless Range. You can see part of the Ice Field Parkway below left. Note that I was smart enough, to not carry my photo equipment, out to the edge.
Taken with a film camera (July & August 1988) and recently scanned.

You are very brave. No matter how you got up there, it looks like one small step and you be falling quite a ways. Wonderful shot! I've never heard of the Colin Range now I have to go look it up (oh Canadian Rockies). Beautiful.

WOW! WHAT A COOL SHOT!! This is freakin' wonderful! Kind of takes your breath away and the clouds look like you could almost reach out and touch them. And the endless airy depth of the background inspires a kind of vertigo. Love this!
