Description
During the summer in Japan, fireworks festivals (花火大会, hanabi-taikai) are held nearly everyday someplace in the country, in total numbering more than 200 during August.
Street vendors set up stalls to sell various drinks and staple Japanese food (such as Yakisoba, Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, kakigori (shaved ice)), and traditionally held festival games, such as Kingyo-sukui, or Goldfish scooping.

Awesome work, Fujiko-san! Looks like my kind of place - fireworks! I used to try to make my own fireworks when I was a kid. It's a wonder I didn't blow myself up!
