Description
A Payload Revealed.
The FS-1 (Fuel-Store One) Module is the next vital component that Robert Carter has designed and NASA has developed to be added to the International Space Station. Carter knows that the supply of fuel available for use by the Orbital Shuttles will not last forever and that NASA will have to get additional supplies of the shuttles generic fuel pods into orbit before the Orbital Shuttles manoeuvring fuel is finally depleted.
The FS-1 Module has been designed so that it can be positioned and locked-on to one of the new ISS modules which were part of Cocoons second test flight into space. Once in position it will provide a docking station for up to twelve of the Orbital Shuttles generic fuel pods ensuring that there is always sufficient fuel on hand and easily reachable to keep the Orbital Shuttles operational. The module is also equipped with its own spacecraft docking port to allow NASAs Orbital Shuttles and CRCs to dock with it.
