Description
Firstly excuse me if my picture may not be perfect but I've had resize and to compress a lot it because the limits of 512KB on Renderosity.
The tradition links this mysterious object (in english known as "Emerald Tablet") to Egyptian culture, especially related to Thoth and his epic. I read a lot on the topic and some documents make me think that its origin should be related to ancient Sumerian culture, rather the Egyptians.
So my work is a artistic interpretation of this idea. I hope you enjoy it.

Fantastic Image !! Looks like a lot of work but the end result was well worth it! I dont know what it says but That aqua colored translucent tablet is perfect. [^___^] Cheers, Roger
Beautiful composition and detail! I love the sand blowing off the dune and the lightening and gold sparkles. The strips of his outfit look wonderful against the lines in the sand. Beautiful tablet! The emerald is excellent against the gold and blue of the image. Terrific skin and expression. Gorgeous image!

seems very religious. nice work.

Superbe scene :)
A very good image and a fascinating story!
I agree with you about the tablet. The script is Sumerian or Babylonian, not Egyptian. Like your arrangement of the various elements a lot.
