Description
Saw lots of these on my walk yesterday. This pair were flitting about together in the air and then settled with one of them, as you see here, going into what I would call a 'submission pose' by laying over on its side. This was the second time I saw this on the walk. I must have disturbed them with the camera as nothing else took place.
Saw other species as well!
Hope you enjoy.

Fantastic capture with one with the wings open and the other with the wings closed. Nice contrast on those green leaves. Dana
Beautiful capture! Wonderful color and detail! I like the way the color of the open butterfly matches the stems.
These butterfly's certainly know how to blend in with their surrounds, talking about colour co-ordination - perfect match with those thin stems of the shrub... fabulous addition to all the other butterfly's BB
