I love ancient Egyptian sphinxes and this is a fantastic one! Is it an original? I'm guessing it's not as the front paws look like bronze that's been cast using more modern methods. Anyway, whether it's an ancient original or a modern reproduction doesn't matter. It's quite nice and I love the dappled along the headdress and face. Wonderful work!
A fantastic shot, Jeff, in many ways. The view, the situation, everything is perfect. Most of all I love Emmy <3. She is wonderful!
Hi Chipka, thanks for comment - repros.
Another lovely granddaughter. How lucky you are :) I love that sphinx too.
Fabulous image of one of my favourite nighttime walks when I lived in London. Your granddaughter is just beautiful and the pose is just perfect. ^=^

Very cute and funny title. Super shot of your granddaughter. Also like the sunlight sneaking through the leaves to dapple the statue. Dana
