Description
Don’t know what kind of bats these were but this photo was taken, Wednesday, at the Franklin Park Zoo, in Boston, Massachusetts. Thanks Harry, I would not have driven down there if you hadn't posted your zoo collages.
Zoom for best viewing details.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

wonderful shot!1
Thanks heaps for this wonderful dedication, Dana! I didn't realize that my zoo fotos would inspire you to go visit our animal friends. I don't believe we have any bats at our Los Angeles zoo. In any event, a cool capture of the fliegenmaus, just hanging around the cave and waiting for darkness so they can fly out and enter open bedroom windows to bite the necks of beautiful sleeping women, turning them into the living dead. Actually, bats do get a bad press, with vampire movies and all, because they really are our allies in that they do help control the insect population. Incidentally, there is a rabid bat infestation going on down in Peru.
What a great shot of these guys! They do look rather cute hanging there.
I find them adorable! Thanks for posting this Dana.
