Description
I dedicated this shot to Marilyn because I used her blind photographic technique of shooting through the windshield, while driving at 55 MPH. Five shots and this was the best.
The Leonard P Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge across the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts. It is one of the widest cable-stayed bridges in the world. The Bridge serves as the northern entrance to and exit from Boston. The bridge has an overall length of 1432 feet (436.5 m), a width of 183 feet (55.7m), a height of 270 feet (98.4m), clearance above the Charles River of 40 feet (12.2m) and towers that are 82.3 m tall. While the highest wind gusts recorded in Boston were 110 mph (175 km/h), the bridge is over engineered and is designed to withstand 400 mph (640 km/h) winds. Some data from Wikipedia.

OMG good shot but be careful~~ Oh well at least you weren't applying makeup while driving :) I've actually seen that done, not by too many men though. haha
LOL, thanks, Dana, but I think I'm getting a really bad reputation for doing that!! Just so everyone knows, no cars or trucks or pedestrians are ever harmed in the shooting of these fotos!! You got a great shot here as well, this is a beautiful bridge!!!
Gorgeous shot of this bridge. Driving and snapping, Hum!
Great shot
Brilliant! well done!
I'm guilty of the same thing, but I have managed over the past year or so to discontinue the practice because I thought it just wasn't worth the risk to myself or to others. Now, if I can just stop looking at every passing skirt...
fantastic!!
Amazing bridge & shot, you certainly get out & about!!!!
What a cool design! Don't you wish you could have free reign to shoot it with no cars and from any angle you want?
Fantastic capture. Looks like a super large Harp
