Description
Here's the Regent Bowerbird, from Ken Gilliland's Songbird ReMix Australia Volume II, collecting objects to artistically arrange in a display (bower) to attract a mate. Also as described in Ken's Field Guide this is the only bird that actually mixes a paint (using it's saliva) & uses wads of leaves as paint brushes! An amazing artist of the bird kingdom.
I am really enjoying all of these amazing & beautiful birds of Austalia.

A beautiful and great posed image!
Wonderful colours and light!
Lovely image-well done. Very colourful too, and I like the blue of the berry in the main Regent Bowerbirds mouth, provides a spot of colour in an otherwise 'yellow tone' image. Jan
