Description
Sitting watching the boats go by, my attention was diverted by wild rose hips.
I took a few shots, framing them each differently, experimenting with composition. In the end, I took two images and photomerged them in CS3 ... a sort of top-left-bottom-right bit of business ... in order to get exactly what I wanted. QUITE a satisfying bit of postwork!

Cant't see the join! Amazing! And I got a brill idea for a doodle the instant I read the ebot.. Prickly hips could be a great birth control feature, for humans at least.

Superb photo(s)! You should be really proud of your postwork.
Fine bit of merging two images into one! The DOF works so well here that there is a 3D look to this...if you take a few moments to stare:) Nice job.

Getting caught up a little bit on comments while waiting at Tampa Airport... Beautiful shot, Tara, and excellent postwork! I'm not going to try and swallow that thing, though! LOL!
I once worked with a woman who declared that she had prickly hips...actually she said they were spiky hips (like thistle burrs.) Apparently--in her telling--muffins stuck to them, especially blueberry muffins with too much butter. As for this photo, it's quite stunning! I love the way the colors and the light simply pop and sizzle and jump around on my screen, despite this being a static picture. It's lively and engaging! I love it!
Turned out amazing. Excellent work. :)
Excellent details. Fine shot.
Excellent post work and quite undetectable. Brilliant colors.
