Description
Two arches for the price of one. This is the Double Arch, Arches National Park, Utah, USA, and thet were eroded from a single ridge, called a fin, of sandstone, as were most of the arches, in Arches National Park. My notes mention that these arches are darker than most because this fin was made up of red entrada sandstone. There is man (dressed in blue), resting in the shade of these arches, for perspective.
Scanned from a photo taken in 1996.
Zoom for best viewing details.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.
