Hi all - My kids are starting back to school today. Trinity is in second grade and Erik is in Kindergarten. So I'm posting a picture showing each child and his/her reaction to going back. (Be sure to check out "Part 2" to see Erik!)
This picture represents my daughter Trinity. She's 7 years old. Last night she was so scared about going back to school. She's worried about it being harder, making new friends and having to do more writing. So this picture shows her at her desk writing on a piece of paper. Her hand it outstretched as if asking for help.
This character is the lovely VH Thalissa for Kids4. She's such a cutie. I gave her blue eyes (just like Trinity's eyes) and dark blond curlie hair. She's in pink because it's Trinity's favorite color. :)

This is simply adorable Lori, and one that I'm sure represents Trinity so well. Most all kids have fears and worries about returning to school, but once she gets there I'm sure everything will be fine. I'll keep her and Erik in my prayers that all goes well today.

You can see the look of trepidation and hesitation on Trinity's face and in her gesture. Very touching with close attention paid to subtle detailing - it comes from being a mom I guess :-)
