Description
Captured 6/12/10, at the Centennial Aviation Day celebration held on the grounds of the beautiful Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum in Carson, California.
Don't bother to zoom, it'll come out the same size.
Taking photographs of my fellow photographers is one of the favorite things I do when attending my many events/visits. Just love it. But, inexplicably, I didn't follow through at the recent Civil War reenactment I just attended. I must be slipping. Or maybe there was too much other stuff screaming for my attention.
Anyway, these photogs are armed with at least two cameras, and the big long lensed ones they do have look like the Mount Palomar telescope. These guys are definitely loaded for bear.
The gentleman depicted in the bottom picture works for channel 28 KCET, our PBS television affiliate in Los Angeles.
Ta-ta, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

Very cool. I have camera/lens envy :P LOL.
Yep...all my cameras look just like that...yep...cough...well the ones I picked out in the catalogs anyways...lol Excellent shots Harry!
wow and those cameras is heavy for sure but i wish I had one. cool shooting
I can barely manage to carry one camera around I can't imagine carrying all that equipment .. great capture..
Neat! One can capture more than what you came for!!!
The man in the 4th photo is really loaded down with equipment. Nice collage once again.
I've finally decided to give two cameras a try but it won't be until September. Too much going on at any aviation show to only have one lens ready to go. Most of these guys have an advantage...they are working for an employer who buys their gear. A fine five framer here today Harry.
People watching at its best Harry. Couldn't carry all the equipment that #4 has - my back wouldn't be able to take it. Great collage. Dana
WAY too much stuff, but they do get some good shots!!
Hilarious, especially the 4th one!
Oh my, that looks cumbersome! All that heavy stuff, I can barely manage my much-smaller one! Oh well, what we do for art, eh? Excellent series of candid portraits!
Oh yeah! I look like that.....NOT! I got one camera...3 Len's. That does me.. One goes from 55 - 300mm so that about covers all you need really but these guys! Whoa! Great shots Harry.. Rob
oh my, their back must hurt after the show...lol... so much equipment
