Description
When I was in my teens, 4 on the floor was the best fo the best. Oh, how I wanted one of those FAST cars. I had a boyfriend with a Chevy Impala 409 that he let me drive. I scared the heck outta him, someone saw me driving and told his dad, and that was that. End of story, end of romance. I miss that car!!

cool shot.I have not drove any stick shift for many years.I miss the fun of driving one
Hehe! Miss that car but not the boy! I had a friend who, at parties, would sidle up to a good-looker and say" Hello! How big is your yacht?"
Lovely interior shot of the car, Nice!!
Cool! My first super-steamy makeout was in a 60's green Mustang with a drive like this at a drive-in theater with a guy I was mad about. The windows of his car were completely wet with the condesation of our young love. Thanks for the memories.... Hello Michael Van Hart if you are out there:)
cool interior
Beautiful color effects in this capture, M! And, guess what, I not only still drive a four on the floor, I have a five on the floor! Yes, I drive a rather old stick-shift sedan, but it gets me where I'm going, gets good mileage, and still looks nice because it's kept in the garage when not being driven. The only drawback to all this is because of its banal family car appearance, I don't have any success picking up women with it.
Great shot. I have tried sticks only twice. Never really got the hang of it. Aloha
what i thought you would miss the boyfriend... hahhah ...wonderful shot
I haven't heard that term "4 on the floor" in a long time. Aloha
Memories are made of this! She's real fine my 409 She's real fine my 409 My 409 Well I saved my pennies and I saved my dimes Giddy up giddy up 409) For I knew there would be a time Giddy up giddy up 409) When I would buy a brand new 409 Brian Wilson/Gary Usher
Sing along with me...she's real fine my four oooh niiiiine....Yes, those 409's were great. When I was a kid my friend's dad had an old metallic blue 64 that he washed and waxed religiously. I love this shot and had forgotten how long those Chrysler Corp Pistol Grip shifters were. The detailing and light in this pic are great. I love how you can see the fine little air holes in the patterning of the driver's seat vinal. Now I've got to try and figure out if this is a Barracuda, a Challenger, a Charger or a Coronet R/T. Judging by the console I'm veering toward the latter. Or not. Wonderful shot!
I think it's a Charger. :| LOL! Seriously! Great shot.
