Description
Anna has the most amazing bouganvilla in her back yard. Even trimmed back it covers about 100 sq. feet. I got under it for this shot---I just love the light!! If you look closely toward the bottom, you'll see the sunflower I posted the other day.

Lovely. The bougainvillea in my garden is seriously out of control. Some of the bushes are 20 feet wide! And with all those thorns......it's a jungle out there!!!!! I do have every colour though!
Beautiful composition and capture!

Sorry so late in responding...just got power restored...Watch the news or google Wisconsin about our Tornado Outbreak today...one went south of our city and the other went north ....and that's only 2 out of last count 6.....what a day...all is well here outside of 5 and a half inches of rain in less than 2 hours. Gorgeous!! I've never seen a bougainvilla up close and personal. Wow!
WOW! You know, Tori Amos is one of the only singer/songwriter genius-chicks who can get away with putting bougainvillea in a song and making it sound fantastic! I always think of that whenever I see/read a reference to this flower, and what a shot of the blossoms you've caught here. This is fantastic! I love the intensity of that pink and the restfulness of it! WOW! This is just a fantastic piece of work! I love it!
