Description
All in one fell swoop. Plenty of repetition here.
Captured 7/20/10, early in the morning, within walking distance of my languid lair.
Better viewed full size.

Humm...commented and something went screwy with my browser...so trying this again...excellent shadows all in a row reaching for the checkered patch just outta reach...very cool and interesting post:-)
Unique patterns and colors here. Nice!
Very interesting capture, very nice use of paterns, shadows and shapes, very nicely done!
What a cornucopia of lines and shapes! Great find and capture, almost too good to be true!
wonderful play with shadows
Wow, great patterns!!
Love these patterns Harry and a nice new good looking fence to top things off. Dana
Fantastic play of light and shadows. Excellent shot with impressive depth.
What an interesting image! I can see why there are few insects where you live, it looks very plantless.
Now look at that - marvelous geometry as well as light and shadows is play here Harry! Very well seen and captured!
Now, if you'd had too much to drink and came upon this! Could you cope! lol Excellent observation and photographed Harry.. Well done here... Rob
Excellent lines and shapes! Love the shadows reaching into the checkerboard! I see a bit of rock in the yard. Are they adverse to grass? I can see the benefits of that, especially when the rains don't come and you have to water a lot or watch your yard die. Last summer was terrible on ours. Great eye and capture!
Great patterns reach out for each other in a summer heat.
Oh, yes, squares, lines, shadows, verticals, horizontals...and it is all so neat. I'll bet if I went for an early morning walk with you, I'd recognize something on every street:) Nicely done.
