Description
Once again I was browsing through my Butterfly photos from the San Diego Wild Animal Park that I had taken in March. Everytime I go through the images this one would catch my eye~ I finally have given in to myself, and decided to upload it.
My previous image, "Taking a Rest", was chosen for "LWitG". Thanks for the recognition. It's an honor :) ...and thank you to you all who visit my gallery, leave me comments and faves. I always look forward to your comments.
...and yes, it is still HOT here. We have been well into triple digit temps for nearly a week now. I think my air conditioner has worked continuously... I dread the electric bill :P
Have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
~Melinda~

A different twist to white on white. Gorgeous capture.
Excellent capture....
Gorgeous! Absolutely GREAT shot!
Excellent focus in this shot of the very stark light and dark effects, Melinda. It's cooled off quite a bit since late last week and the weekend. Only reached 90 degrees in my patio today. I hope it doesn't get any worse.
Very nice capture.... Aloha
Butterflies always have the most amazing faces! This beauty is no exception! What a shot. Stellar clarity and I love the light. This is quite a marvelous piece of insect photography, and I love your focus on details as well as subject...the whole piece just fits together in the prefect way for maximum visual appeal. Wonderful colors too! Yeah, I like this. I'm curious about those plant tendrils...they're quite intriguing!
Excellent!
