Description

After taking several pictures of this particular spot, it almost appear that a hand rose up to stop the lava flow. Will post the hand like image on my next post. Aloha and thank you for viewing. PS. Update on the lava flow, it just over ran the County Veiwing parking lot and moving closer to my friends house Gary. His regular escape route is gone.

Holy cow! What are Gary's thoughts on this? I'd be worried. How sad to own a piece of this stunning island and lose it to the wrath of mother nature.

A truly sensational, and most dangerous image! So much heat, that it completely radiatess right off the page, and one feels it throughout the bones! It's almost "chilling" at how close you get to these subjects (no pun intended here) :) Hopefully by now Gary has a back up plan... I couldn't imagine how scary it must be... that is what I call truly living on the edge! Excellent photography, my Friend! Stay Safe!

I hope you're right, that this is a hand trying to stop the flow from going to your friends place... I couldn't imagine anything worse than waking up with lave completely surrounding your place and wondering how long it'll be before it burns down WITH YOU IN IT... Wow... what an image, story. I'm praying that mother nature doesn't allow the flow to get there.
