Description
Thank you for stopping by:
Taken last year at the Fire Arts Festival.
I call this art the precursor to Burning Man.
About the Crucible:
The Fire Arts Festival springs from the creative space of Oakland's Crucible -- a non-profit arts education center, founded in 1999, which teaches fire, metal, and glass art. From blacksmithing to neon, students learn myriad skills in industrial arts.
