Description

Lava has moved further down and closer to the County Viewing area burning up little vegetation on its way. Will be going down there tomorrow to check it out. As for this image, I've reduced the flash. Sometimes you get a good picture and sometimes not. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Good job. Tough contrast to work with here. I'd say a little more flash to lighten the cooled lava would be optimal.

This is Raging! Wow. The adjustment to the flash didn't hurt this at all and really intensified the orange glow in the foreground.

You take excellent lava picture and it always puts me in awe... and just now reading what you wrote and pictureing it in my head makes me want to ask if you've made picture of before and after? say you know how this lava is moving and it will reach a certain structure in a certain time, maybe you could show us before, durring and after all from the same pov.

Great shot! Seems a good idea to reduce the light of the flash a little bit, creates a something "mystical" glowing. This could be the streets of Berlin in these days, glowing asphalt on the streets, hihi.... Aloha, Sharky!

Splended play of light along the crust! Wonder what a forced flash off and a 3200 ISO would show.
