Description
Could not resist this aging couple. ;)
The newer phone shown in the image is not in use and has been removed leaving the housing/booth. I should call both antiquities since cell phones have taken over.
Taken last month on the Arizona strip.

A lovely old British telephone box - this would make a lovely novelty shower cubicle for someones home. Great shot.
Well seen and captured! They must have left the old booth there, just in case SuperMan needs a place to change. ;D
Well, this is something we don't see very often. But despite of the aged textures on its walls, you could still see the beauty that has faded through time and seemingly still hear the calls that were made during its days of glory when people used to come and go. Now, as it stands there, accompanied by a new friend, it shows the booth has proven the test of time. A splendid capture!
Oh dear me - the red booth is certainly way past its "use by" date! What a wonderful find and capture Dana! Love it!
Amazing the old held out much longer! Probably the new one felt cocky when he was new but he didn't last long! The world turn around faster and faster.
A collectible item right there. I can't remember seeing any of the old telephone booth here in Hawaii too. Very nice shot. Aloha
I would dearly love to have one of these oldies in my back yard. I'd have it restore and the focus of my garden in a heartbeat... Fabulous nostalgic pairing.
Someone must have paid a lot to export that to there!

I always love study pieces like this--the stressed phone has seen some hard times but probably has some kewl story's to tell--nice capture!
Cool capture, well done....
Gone but not forgotten by us. But what must a 10 year old think of these things?

Wonderfully seen. What a rare treat to see them together. They used to be everywhere, now you hardly ever think or see of them. Excellent shot!
