Hi all - I'm posting this to all my Rendo friends. This is just to let you know what's going on with me and my family. My mom called and said that basically her breast cancer is 'incurable'. Her doctor is not going to do chemo or surgery. My sister called the doctor. He said it came down to a 'quality of life' issue. Bottom line is that they are going to keep my mom on 'maintenance drugs' for as long as possible. I'm having some real challenges dealing with this news. On the positive side... I am so glad to have you guys as friends. I am so glad I have a supportive hubby to lean on. I am so glad for whatever time I have left with my mom. Life is short. Cherish it. Value those you love.
