Description
This is just an African landscape captured some summers ago in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in South Africa! I just miss summer and warmth today and this image spoke to me!
Thank you for popping in and for the overwhelming reaction and support in comments and favs on my upload "Hey Kitty Kitty" of yesterday! It was fun reading all your comments!
Stay well!

like the 'painterly'look of it
Gorgeous colors. Like your postwork a lot.
Summer landscape, and some aren't. Nature in the raw, as depicted in this wonderful capture of the South African veldt, Carin!
Superb capture Carin. Summer must come. We are having a cold spell again. I see some farmers in Limpopo province had damage to their Avocado and Banana crops because of the severe cold weather.
I'm trying to catch up on my comments and will comment more on your gallery soon. This is a fantastic shot! I love how quasi-dreamlike and vaguely alien this looks. We have a lot of different kinds of scenery here in America and I'm sure there's something like this somewhere but not any place I'm personally aware of. Without the mountains/hills it could be the Florida Everglades, but as it is, it's quite mesmerizing. I could go for a little winter about now as it's presently broiling hot in Chicago. Wonderful shot.
Also very NOT Washington State! What a fabulous landscape ... I know it's fairly ordinary to you, but gosh ... to me, it's like the other side of the world! :D
The grass and the hills could be Kansas...just thought you'd like to know:-) Beautiful shot my friend.
What a beautiful dreamy 'scape! Wow, well done!
Beautiful green landscape. The dead tree sure makes the shot. Great eye on your part. Dana
Wow, Carin... this is an absolutely amazing shot, such a great view!
What a wonderful capture this is. the landscape is so different from the Europeen and very beautiful too. I love the dry tree in the front.
Africa has a magic not seen anywhere else. So says a friend of mine who returned there from the UK some time ago! He thought he was returning here for good, but Africa called him back! Amazingly beautiful. I'd love to see it first hand. Marvellous image. ^=^
