Description
I have had this image in my files for way over a year now! I captured it at the Lion and Rhino Park just about 45 minutes drive north of where I live! They raise (amongst others) tigers and cheetahs in semi-captivity to help raise funds for the protection of both endangered species. This clown worked with two Bengal tigers and completely freaked me out! He allowed this 300pound + animal to lay on top of him and lick his head! Yikes first of all and 'I think NOT' secondly!!!! Anyway - I thought it would be either amusing or entertaining!
Thank you for popping in and for your very welcome comments and favs on my series of uploads on Namibian Wild Flowers! I really appreciate it!
Stay well!
Hugs
Carin xx

Interesting capture! :)
And a year on, is he still with us, I wonder!
cool shot nowadays there live more tigers in captivity than in the wild
Where does a tiger lay? Answer: anywhere he wants. Lovely capture, fine looking CAT
Fantastic capture, not a picture you could get every day!!!!!!!
This is an incredible shot, Carin! Thanks for sharing it!
Nice shot, but one day this trick will go wrong.
and he just loves his human-skin rug! Great capture
Isn't it obvious Carin, I thought everyone knew that Tiger saliva is a miracle hair growth tonic hehe
ahh nothing like a little kitty love :D
That is one HUGE kitty!!! So beautiful. but I don't think I'd be brave enough to try this! His paw is as big as the guy's face!!! Regal cat!!
stunning image!!! it's amazing!
ce chat est trop gros pour moi!!!superbe photo!
Hope that tiger doesn't decided he wants to get too frisky!
Lol! Wonderful shot. I love Tigers and to me that would be a great experience.
Now this is nuts!!! lol. Glad that tiger is friendly. Incredible capture. Aloha
This is a verified hoot! Talk about funny...I mean...this is one big chuckle...except the photography used and that is just downright awesome!
Yikes is correct!
Obviously no one ever taught this tiger that you are not supposed to play with your food. Excellent capture. For years I've been telling people there are no tigers in Africa. I guess I'll have to amend that.
Oh my, I would like to do this, I think...or maybe not. I would love the chance to pet a tiger, though. What a shot!
First, and most importantly of all, Carin, better him than me!!! Supremely stellar capture of the beautiful and hopefully fully tamed tiger, lying prone upon the back of the clown, who in turn is lying upon a horizontal beam of some sort. Now, that's entertainment! And, gorgeous lighting and textures in this super shot, young lady!
LoL....nice capture!!!! :>
I can imagine how hard it would be to breath with 300# on your back.sometimes they get to careless and a naturally wild animal does what they naturally do
Well now I don't feel quite so put upon when our 17+ pound Fozz lays on my head and licks my nose... This fellow obviously really trusts his bond with this big kitty. Awesome capture on your part, wonderful colouration in the image too. : )
Incredible capture!!
It's not a recommended why to get your hair cleaned. ;D Excellent capture!
