Description
(Bug Comic,Follows Rain Falls Up)
....Which is what Rain's cousin Randy, (ever the joker), said on seeing Rain hanging upside down in the "cave."
Rain has already wrapped his shirt around the Longbow optics, and put the trigger lock back on. It's taken him a few minutes to do this because he's had to do this by feel, and he's having trouble concentrating between being upside down, and the amazing, awful smell of the "cave".
Randy had figured out how to get down to Rain by having the bright idea that the bugs must have some way to climb *up* to the path the "boys" walked in on, otherwise the bugs wouldn't be in the lower pastures every few days, which is why Randy and Leaf have really good hair right now--they had to crawl down a steep path through brush to reach the cave. Once they got to water level, Randy used his pitchfork to prod dead bugs and flaming brush into the water, and then they spotted Bat Rain in his cave.
Rain just tells Randy to "take the gun" and asks if there is water under him and how deep it is. Randy remembers that Rain can't see anything useful with his IR vision, stops thinking of other things to tease Rain with (Randy has just realized that Rain isn't in great shape) and tells Rain: "Water and a whole lotta bugshit. Just try to scoot this way,if you drop, we'll pull you out of ...whatever it is." And Randy means it--Rain has pulled *him* out of some sticky messes before, though not quite so literally.

I have a lot of half-done Bug Comic renders, they are requiring more painting so they take longer, and other stuff has had to be cleaned/fixed around the house. Plus some of the renders are PG ones so they will have to go on my own server;)
(Randy spends his allowance at the local whorehouse, for example, Bryan has mushy dreams about the Library Angel:(NWS)

and Dawn has arguments with Frank sans clothes)
Lots of Daz stuff here: Kavalo Hair by Neftis, ElorOnceDark's Longbow, Nico texture on Leaf.

Ahhh---the Boys Are Back!! Very cool---although I must say, Rain looks a bit uncomfortable... :)
what a masterpiece lynn, love bug comics, so original by far and the creativity is awesome. the coloring. render and characters are always the best..
Been loving the series now and I think this is one of the best scenes yet, funny and yet serious at the same time. Excellent work on the story as well!
Brilliant work. I wouldn't worry about bats, however if there were spiders then I'll be toting a bazooka.
Very nice upside down posing! And a pretty nasty visual comes to mind of Rain dropping into "whatever"! An excellent work, you have certainly taken Rain through the paces in the last few panels. I will remember to close my eyes for the PG ones! ;) Nice work!
Just more fun than three boys should be allowed! Great artwork as always, and I was so absorbed in looking over all the other cool details it did not really dawn on me Leafs boots were from the BC set. Like everything else, they just fit right in to this so well crafted scene!
A truly inspired and absolutely marvelous image! A masterful work of art! Very well conceived and realized, congratulations!
Truly fantastic and amazing work! Your scenes are always so detailed! Impressive!
I blame the bugs for the smell personally.
LOLOLOL!! Wow..Murphy's Law in effect! It just gets funnier and funnier! This is a great scene actually!
Awesome work, Lynn! I love your bug comic characters. Nice work on this "cliffhanger" image.
Excellent
He looks pretty sexy hangin' upside down with dirt all over him. It's a great image - I love all the little details, and the camera angle too.
the details in this one are so interesting because they're so story specific. are those roots hanging from the ceiling, or something bug related? i love the mess on rain, and the way the measuring tape is hanging on him. the slick of god knows what to the left sets the scene effectively. the cloth around the sight looks very realistic.
Wonderful image and continuation of the story! Very well done!
great work :)
Excellent !
outstanding storyline and your illustration rocks
Well done.
You have such an eye for the details, Lynn - look, even sweat and blood is running in the right direction on the hanging guy! :) Amazing picture and story!
