Description
The day we went to Whidbey for the garden tour, we were at my sister-in-law's place for lunch beforehand. This beautiful peony is from her garden. Not part of the official tour, but every bit as lovely!
Ummm ... does anybody else see a face in those petals, or is it just me?

I think it should have been. this is very lovely Great capture, Tara
The deep pink color in this is just drop dead beautiful. I would sure like to see this personally, but I'll just have to settle for your lovely picture.
pretty in pink--what a sweet flower!!
Very nice indeed!
Gorgeous Peony Tara. They are always to delightful.. I have a shot in my upload folders myself. :-)
I see a face in the center petal.... Aloha
Nah, it's just you. :) But it is a gorgeous flower none the less. And I can see the yellow naughty bits inside. Wonderful image.
Lovely capture of this beautiful flower, so nice!!
No Hun - I see no face! But I do see a very elegant and sensuel bloom nd a wonderful picture!! Well done Dierbaar! If you see faces... we can have a session!!! LOL...
I see a rather monkey-like face! What a very pretty colour this is.
Stunning.. a beauty on a cloudy day.. Wonderful colours.. Rob
Those are wonderful ruffled petals that make this so whimsical. I can't grow peonies... they don't like me or my garden.
I'm not sure about a face...but I see tousled hair and an unmade bed...kind of goes with your creative title:) This is a beautiful bloom.
I do see a face on the left edge... Beautiful flower, Clive
That's a beautiful flowr, and a beautiful photo, Tara! I do see a face in the center - it kind of reminds me of either a monkey, or a Skeksis from the Dark Crystal movie. Or maybe it's just something in my coffee....
Beautiful!!
belle photo!!
very sweet smiles warm hugs, Linda Kaye
This is so delicate and pretty. It looks so soft and fluffy. Super color, details and capture. Dana
Sheer perfection!
I love peonies...they smell good, they attract ants, they're gorgeous, and they're some of the only flowers I can actually name! That and as you show here, they're just so pretty! This is a great shot. I can't say that I see a face in the blossom...well, I do, but it's not a human face...it could be...well...some kind of alien with really complicated mouth parts, but they're not so overcomplicated that grins aren't recognizable. But that's just me. I'd hate to see what I'd come up with during one of those ink blot tests.
Beautiful flower and capture!
Splendid capture! :)
Wonderful shot, I love peonies! I can almost smell its scent here... :)
This is glorious, Tara. My favorite colour too. Hugs. Diane. xx
Lovely indeed...beautiful Tara
