love these big old battle wagons, did you do any modifications on the orig model or simply chng the ID # on the bow. Well done!
People keep asking questions, so maybe I can post an answer here. I'll give it a try. I included 3 textures with the ship, BBs 62, 63 & 64. They were basically identical. Differences between them were less significant than changes over time. The first ship, Iowa, had a different bridge, and 3 20mms on top of the B turret instead of a 40mm quad. This was to keep the gun from blocking view from the flag bridge. Later in the war Iowa got the same bridge structure as the others, and by the Korean War the differences were minor. I believe the Wisconsin was in mothballs during Vietnam, and didn't get modernized (Tomahawk missiles, etc.) until the Reagan administration. It fired the first missiles in the Gulf War of 1991. John
Nicely done model there!!!!
awesome work~~
Super panoramic view!!! I remember reading about how the destroyer Eaton was involved in a collision with the Wisconsin. The hole was fixed with parts from the uncompleted Kentucky in 1956. Super work!!!
