Description
The heat here has dropped from the upper 90s to the upper 80s in the past few days but the humidity went from around 60% to about 80% because of brief intermittent showers.
It is still horrid outside, lol. Fortunately I noticed this female Common Whitetail as I was going from my air-conditioned home to my air-conditioned truck and managed to get this quick shot.

This is such a beautiful image with the mottled leaves making a co-ordinating background to the lovely insect! I was envious at first of your large amount of ground..but I should HATE to live anywhere that got as hot or as cold as where you are!
